Following successful exhibitions in Peru and Chile, Jiangsu Sushang Steel Group headed to Ecuador without delay, showcasing at the Centro de Convenciones Metropolitano de Quito (CCMQ). The exhibition ran from October 27 to 29, 2026. This Ecuador show marked the final stop of Sushang Steel’s three-country roadshow across South America. Building on the brand reputation gained in Peru and Chile, our booth drew tremendous attention from local buyers, engineering contractors and trading distributors right after opening, with steady visitor flow throughout the event, wrapping up this South America marketing tour on a high note.
Our booth featured our core product lines: carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized & PPGI products, aluminum, copper and various alloy materials, available in plates, coils, pipes, bars and structural profiles. Custom processing services were also offered. Booth banners were designed in both English and Spanish to accommodate local Latin American clients, clearly displaying material grades, applicable standards, processing capacity and delivery solutions for structural construction, municipal projects, machinery manufacturing, pipeline systems and decorative fabrication. The complete product portfolio enables buyers to source steel and non-ferrous metals in one stop and greatly improves negotiation efficiency.

Over the three exhibition days, our booth was among the most popular ones in the hall. We received over 210 groups of visitors, including large local Ecuadorian engineering firms, importers, steel structure fabricators, plus cross-border prospects from neighboring countries such as Colombia, Peru and Venezuela. We held in-depth face-to-face talks with 86 clients, collected 73 valid purchase inquiries, with total intended order value exceeding USD 12.8 million. Nineteen framework agreements were signed on site, covering carbon steel coils & sheets, stainless steel tubes, galvanized profiles, aluminum discs, copper bars and other items. Many clients inspected samples and verified material specifications on the spot, praising our tight tolerance, good surface finish and flexible lead time. Multiple clients confirmed sample delivery, quotation and trial orders immediately after the show. Local industry media also visited our booth for an exclusive interview, covering Sushang Steel’s South America expansion and supply chain strengths, further boosting our brand exposure across Ecuador and the Andean region.

Across the full tour (Peru — Chile — Ecuador), we connected with more than 520 companies and built a pipeline of over 160 long-term prospective clients. Direct conversations at these three shows helped us grasp local market demands: the region has strong demand for cost-effective carbon steel, corrosion-resistant stainless steel, galvanized & prepainted steel, as well as aluminum accessories. Buyers prioritize reliable lead time, bilingual technical support and flexible small-batch orders. Backed by direct factory supply, custom cutting service and 24-hour responsive after-sales support, Sushang Steel has built trust with dozens of local distributors, changing the stereotype that Chinese steel suppliers are slow to communicate and unstable on delivery. Several repeat customers traveled from neighboring countries to our Ecuador booth for order expansion, and actively referred industry partners, creating a healthy referral cycle.
The successful Ecuador exhibition concludes Sushang Steel’s South America roadshow. Our sales team will prioritize follow-up on all inquiries generated from Peru, Chile and Ecuador, pushing forward sample arrangements, quotations and contract negotiations. With the channels established during this tour, we will continuously optimize product specifications, packaging and logistics solutions tailored for Latin America, supporting FOB, CIF, DAP and other trade terms. We will keep supplying premium carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, copper and alloy products to the Andean market, striving to become a trusted Chinese steel manufacturer and supply chain partner across Latin America.
